The old one was hard to remove because the original key is lost, however, I did figure out that I could use the new key to get the old cylinder to turn enough to remove it. I’m NOT a mechanic! But figured it out.

For the most part it works pretty well. Mine broke where the little button is you shove down. The machine they used was cutting a little to far and thinned the metal down
But is a little rough with key going into and out but it is getting better the smoother the keys get. So overall I probably would buy a different brand.

less than 10 minutes and the job was done, and now 6 months later it is still better then new, but I do recommend a little lube to start

Just open the box and there’s nothing in there except ignition switch and the keys, I guess I’m off to YouTube to see if I can figure out the pairing, not sure if I want to install at all without, UPDATE claims to fit Chevy Silverado and Amazon says it fits your car BUT doesn’t, crap and I’m over the return window so I have useless paperweight now
