I needed a new nozzle to replace the one my wife used as a handle to lift the 2-gallon container out of the truck bed. While I considered the built-in safety measures of an entirely new container, the old can has worked safely for 20 years and I didn’t want to add another piece of plastic to the landfill. I purchased the listed nozzle with its simple screw-on cap. Oddly, the new cap is wholly non-functional – the loop would not thread on the tip of the nozzle. I thought to ream the loop so it would at least slide onto the nozzle. And why was it sized to almost thread anyway!? Then I determined the threads on the cap did not match the threads on the nozzle – Phooey. The base parts went untested/unused. The bag of plastic is a waste of useless parts. Thank the gubment for changing the specs of a very, very simple product, and the Chinese for more junk.

No use at all. Nothing fits itself and doesn’t attach to standard containers at all. Very cheap, low quality product.

Look elsewhere. As mentioned in other reviews this vent cap was too small to fit the vent hose. The loop I was barely able to get on after using a screw driver to pry it around the edges, only to find the cap itself is too small to screw into the top of the vent hose, pretty much rendering this useless as the gas fumes will permeate through your garage without the vent hose covered. This will be a one time use for me, then throwing it out.

Simple pour spout, solving the annoyance of the spring-loaded supposedly no spill versions, that you always end up spilling a little out of.
This comes with a threaded collar for fine and thicker threads, and should fit most plastic gas cans. I used to use a funnel because I didn’t like the special new spouts, this is better as I don’t need one and can pour it like the older days. I hate to be that person, but i never really took to those new spouts. This is a way of fixing an issue without spending too much money.

Product worked great and priced right. I would have given a 5 star but it was missing one coarse thread cap. I wonder why these boxes are missing parts because other reviewers are also reporting the same issue.
