Works well on a smaller engine. Larger engines with a 2 quart or larger oil capacity need a hotter heater or a bigger heater that covers more surface area. If the made a 120v 125w 4 x 5 inch pad it would be perfect.

Installed on a 2009 Hyundai Sonata with 4.5 quart oil capacity. Very easy install, just follow the directions. I recommend using a wire wheel or some sandpaper to remove the paint on the oil pan and cleaning with acetone before installation. The installation instructions are clear and precise. Quick synopsis, choose location, clean location, plug in for 5 seconds to activate adhesive, unplug and apply to location, use squeegee to remove air bubble, plug in for 10 seconds unplug and squeegee two more time, apply included sealant along edges, route cord, secure with included zip ties, done.
