The design is okay. The product that you get is not as nice as the picture. They’re made of very thin metal that they stamped. It doesn’t feel like solid steel, more like cheap metal. When you tighten the nuts, you have to hold the whole thing, otherwise it will bend and get out of shape. It would be good to have a cover for the positive side at least. I used a zip tie to put a piece of rubber over and around mine. Later, I will make a cover with my 3D printer.
The positive one hardly tightened on the battery post. I get that they don’t want you to over tighten or break the thing, but I’m not sure that it will hold well over time. They really need to think about making the bolt stronger that holds the terminal to the post. Maybe one of those quick release things that you can adjust and lock.
The metal on the clamp part is not enough to handle the high power that the 3 posts suggest. I would not use this for high-power things like car starters, and so on. It is better for things like radios, lights, and so on. I am using it on my battery on the back porch that is hooked up to my solar panels. All it does is power a 400w inverter and charge phones, tablets, and so on.
I ordered one pair, but for some reason I got another package with another pair of the same terminals. I don’t know why, but that was nice as I can use them too.

These terminal blocks worked great on my RV 12v battery system . I was able to hook up solar, 12v dc power , and power inverter to the terminals and run my camper offgrid. The 2 awg cables didn’t get hot from the inverter battery connection. These terminals definitely handled 100 amp 12v dc current perfectly. Good quality will definitely use them again for more projects.
