The description says aluminum but a magnet sticks to them. I want to weld them so that would be good for me. They might be a mix of stainless which I won’t be able to weld easily. The finish might be an aluminum color or zinc plating.

The welds and machining on the spindles looks great.
They have some cheap plastic bushings for the king-pin (the big bolt that the spindle pivots on) that don’t seem very durable. You will definelty want to keep them clean and greased to extend the life. I will see how well they hold up.
The pedals n cable are OK but nothing to get excited about. The parts have a thin plating, probably Zinc to prevent rust. It’s not “show chrome” and the parts aren’t polished out.
Overall they are respectable go kart building parts, and I can’t see anything that would keep me from using them. I am building a dropped tube lawn mower axle!
