Gave these replacement 12volt connectors a try after the ones from walmart melted just like the products originals one did. This was to replace my 12 volt connector on my harbor freight air compressor that I had in my cars trunk, it melted after being on for a long period can had to replace it with a walmart one for time being later that one melted and had to buy this one from amazon and the melting from the plastic housing hasn’t occurred anymore, this is why i guess it can handle more amperage. well worth the price.

They work exactly as expected and I like the indicator light that lets you know it’s connected to a power source. It has a very tight fit inside the outlet and it comes with heat shrink plastic and crimp lock for the wire you plan on connecting to it.
