So, disclaimer – I’m using this mop to help ward off cobwebs and other gross garage inhabitants rather than using it for its intended purpose, so if you are a car person more than just a cleaning person, you might want to check another review. But for my purpose, this mop is great! The materials it is made of aren’t SUPER high quality by any means, but… it’s a garage mop; something that I intend to get gross. It is lightweight and was easy to put together, and does in fact snag all the nasties from in my deep dark garage corners like a charm. The microfiber pad takes a little bit of finagling at first to get off, but with some practice I feel more proficient at managing it, and it does well in the wash (just don’t use fabric softener for it – or really, fabric softener in general, but especially with microfiber stuff).
The only real gripe I have per se is that sometimes I’ll have to re-adjust the mop head when I’m trying to hold it straight up, which… let’s be completely honest, I haven’t found a mop that does that perfectly to this point, and I’m also not paying a premium price point on these sorts of things either, so it’s an inconvenience I am happy to have. I love having a nasty garage mop, and I don’t mean that sarcastically at all – I feel free from the clutter, grass, and little insect husks that pile up over time.

I always put off washing my car for far too long because, honestly, it’s just a pain – especially when all you have is a cleaning rag and a bucket of soapy water. This mop-thing really speeds up the process.
I used to have a brush-on-a-stick with soft bristles I bought from a big box store; while it was effective, the fact it had bristles often left little lines of dirt across my car that I couldn’t see until it dried. This car mop doesn’t have that problem; the design of the head sees to that, and the material leaves no risk of scratches. Coverage is also much better than the brush-type scrubbers since there are no bristles. The head of this one can also lay flat along the pole, making cleaning the car’s roof much easier.
As far as durability, I wouldn’t go and bear down on the pole with all my weight and strength, but for general car washing use it should be fine.
Overall, I’m glad I ordered this; it turned a thirty minute mess of a car wash into something that takes less than ten minutes.

This curved handle car wash mop is helpful for reaching across the roof and windshield of SUVs and larger cars. The curved handle is a bit nicer than your standard straight handle when reaching across the roof of a taller vehicle since it can provide a bit of extra clearance from hitting the roof. The mop head has a single pivot point which I prefer over one that pivots on two axes and becomes a bit floppy. The microfiber mitt seems to be a better quality mitt than I’ve had on previous car wash mops. The mop is more dense and even the backing that wraps around to hold the mitt in place is a thicker neoprene material. The mitt is soft and should be safe on your vehicle’s paint without worry of any scratching. The telescoping handle works fine, and locks in place with two plastic levers. These work fine and hold it securely, but I’m wondering if they may eventually be a weak point that may potentially fail. At the moment they feel reasonably sturdy though. The only thing I I would change if I could would be to have a slightly longer handle. Another 6″ or so would have been perfect and would help for shorter users or in cases where you have a full size tall SUV. Overall this is a very good telescopic handle car wash mop though.

I got this with the hope that it would make car washing just a little bit faster. I was previously using a rag and bucket. It surpassed my hopes by far. First, the mop head feels like hundreds of velvet fingers. I tried it dry and it removed dust very well, but I didn’t want to go too far because the car was pretty dirty and I didn’t want to be dragging debris all over the car. The supplier claims it won’t scratch, but I chose not to take the chance. So I gave it a quick rinse, then sprayed on some soapy water. The washing went so quickly, I wish I’d timed it. It saves time because you don’t have to walk as much, the mop even reached over the top of my car. And the mop head is far larger than your hand – so you just cover more ground quickly. And I didn’t have to bend down to do the wheels! The mop head is narrow enough to get just about everywhere – and the fibers on the mop head are squishy and hit more areas than you would think they can. I only had to touch up a few spots near the door handles and wheels afterwards, and with practice I bet I could get those perfect with the mop as well . The handle feels sturdy, and the mop head swiveled easily as I move the mop around. After cleaning the car, I used the mop on the siding on my garage. I used the same (wet) mophead, then gave the siding a quick rinse afterwards. Again, it did an amazing job in minutes, without me getting cold water running down my arms. I am a fan, and would recommend this to anyone.

I measured it at 42″ not 43″. The little yellow knob on the head with a rotational arrow locks the swivel head in place. I find that it does a good job for a normal car wash with typical dirt but for the top of my car with encrusted bird droppings it wasn’t stiff enough and with the handle as short as it is I couldn’t put enough pressure in the middle of the roof; I could get a lot off but not all.

We’re in a stage 4 drought in Texas, and outside water use is very restricted, so for the first time in my 66-year-old life, I can’t go to a carwash. I ordered this so I could wash the car in the driveway using a big bucket of water. I am weak-muscled and slightly lazy and was astounded at how well the wash brush works. Zero streaking, pole is long enough to reach everything but the middle of the roof on my small SUV. Also rinses very well and easily. I’m extremely satisfied.
