These are absolutely great. Good price and they do the job with no issues. Please forgive the mess, this wasn’t my car. These were installed on a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon. Please know that for the bottom bracket attached to the car, you may have to take that bracket off to connect the strut. It is two 12mm bolts. I popped it off, popped the strut on the ball on the bracket and reconnected the bracket. Also when doing your first side, if it seems that the strut is too long, pop the strut on the other side off which will allow the hatch to life high enough.

I was a little concerned because the fit was pretty tight but these are very strong and have not caused and interference damage. So after a month or so the struts became so stiff you could not close the hatch without significant effort. So I replaced one with one of my old worn out ones and it works great. Now I have a second one for when the other wears out. Still happy with the purchase just don’t toss your OEM parts when you replace with new.

After installing these, you can hardly close the back hatch since the pressure is way to high.

Like another reviewer, it’s too much tension for the endeavor. So we left one broke one on and installed one new. It’s just right with the 1 new one. We will just save the 2nd one for when it needs to be replaced again.

Was a easy install just remove bracket 1st. Has extra strength when up so needs a good pull to get down. Fast self rising. over all good product so far.

It barely fits to the point of having to struggle to make it snap into place. Very strong, only installed one as 2 would have made it too hard to close.
