Received order and as always checked to see if everything was there. Unfortunately, the bolt and washers to attach the caliper was missing? It was apparent this was a repackaged product and not all the parts were included. I was very disappointed. I have no problem with the repackaging just make sure the customer is receiving all the parts necessary to install.

Product is great in terms of the value. Will update review after few months, put in on WJ jeep. Install easy but the Banjo bolt for the caliper hose is incorrect for 2001 WJ. Bolt was too big and would fit through the Brake hose.
Used the old ones and it worked fine. Also keep your old washers, better fit and even after 20 years use still worked better then the ones they send.
Other wise good product.

The caliper, bracket and rubber components seem good enough, however, when I assembled and tried to bleed the system it was sucking air and there was a leak at the brake hose to caliper connection. I removed the brake hose bolt and examined the copper washers. They didn’t appear to be properly seating so I compare to the old bolt and washers. I believe the copper washers supplied are too thin and the bolt was bottoming out before compressing the copper washers. I used the old bolt and washers and Everything was fine. The washers supplied may also be too hard to seal the assembly. Pretty sure they need to be dead soft hardness.

I been working on my 02 jeep grand cherokee Laredo this week and I noticed that it has 2 rear side brake calipers on it. Funny I didn’t even notice 2 years ago when I installed them. They will work on either side but on the passenger side the bleeder port is below the brake hose connection point. Makes it difficult when bleeding to get all the air out of the system.

Follow instructions and bleed correctly…your life and others depend on if you follow directions… YOU COULD BE HELD liable if you fail to follow directions… BRAKES on vehicles are not a joke
