After installing this part and running the window down the first time the top of the regulator hit the glass and rubbed the window tint off and scratched the glass! After installing it and comparing it to the OEM part you can see it the pictures the difference. After spending some time grinding down the top of the regulator (see pictures) I reinstalled it and it cleared the glass. Do yourself a favor and purchase somewhere else!!!

This regulator assembly went into a 2000 Chevy Malibu. I got the motor early so that’s good. It looked like it would fit. The nylon slider that fits into the window glass bracket was oversized. It did not fit. I was able to work around this by popping the slider off the old motor assembly and swapping it onto the new assembly. After that, the assembly went into the door with a bit of persuasion. Overall successful repair but not without issues. Value was good… 15 bucks cheaper than a junkyard part,40 bucks cheaper than a new one from AZ… Purchase at your own risk.
