This was a perfect match for my 2004 Ford Ranger Ext Cab with V6 3.0 engine 2wd. I had my doubts when I pulled it out of the box but it actually was a perfect match and everything worked perfectly and there was no extra special tools needed to take the fuel lines off the the original pump because they’re color-coded push buttons on the high pressure Line and return lines. I would recommend any DYI guy or gal to tackle this job. 7 mm quarter incquarter and strive socket to take off the filler neck and a 55 mm Torque’s Socket on a breaker bar or or long ratcheto take out the bed bolts. If you’re alone take your time to loffend and pull the bed back a few inches at a time until you get it balanced on top of the tires and bumper and that will give you all the access you need to knock off the locking ring on the fuel pump assembly and you’ll have it out in just a few Minutes but just don’t forget to wash off the top of the gas pump assembly and be careful not to drop any dirt inside the tank and before you know it your putting it all back together. It took me 2 hours because I had to muscle off my leer topper before I could do the job.
Lots of luck to all you DYI’s out there it’s a easy job.

The side rods were too long for my application. it was easy to shorten and use. Just a slight mod

If this part lasts for another 80K miles on my Ranger then well worth the money. The OEM part is $311 compared to $79. No brainer! Then the fuel filter that they offer was only $7 compared to $30+. Another no brainer!

  4. Excelente Gracias 👍

Product was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Product arrived as described. Every thing works great! I’ve used it several times already and have had no issues. I can honestly say I’ll keep using this here on and it’s simple and easy to use.

I use this on my 2005 Ford Ranger with no issues

Extremely tight fit vertically in a 2006 Ranger, barely wanted to sit down enough to get the locking ring over it. Started right up great, though, and did short trips testing it for a few days as I was doing work on the truck. Then let sit two weeks, tried to start again, and pump was dead. Did diagnostics, made sure it was getting power, took it out and tested it with direct power, nothing. Heard these cheap off brand units were prone to this, but still am impressed they have perfected the art of making something that works at all in the first place yet dies within weeks of installation. Luckily I got it out and returned by the last day of Amazon’s no hassle return period.

    Muy bien 🙂

Worked in 2004 Mazda. Getting the old one out was a challenge but the install was relatively simple

  8. Jeannette Saunders

Seems to do the job. Fit well. Way cheaper than local suppliers and appears identical to the one I removed.

Funcionó muy bien sin problemas hasta el momento y tiene buena potencia mi camioneta
