cheap fabrication – way over priced – can easily charge 30$ and still make good margin – 48.50 probably has over 60% margin – probably made for under 10$ but what are you going to do? all these manufacturers price fix …. needed it – had to buy it – life goes on until it doesnt – kinda like my window regulator!!!

I installed it on an old Dodge Ram van, and it worked exactly like it was supposed to.
Easy to install (after researching exactly HOW to do it, of course), and once completed, the window went up and down in a perfectly-smooth manner.

I bought this for a 1998 B1500 Van. It isn’t the exact same thing as the OEM, but it works with some simple changes. The first is that the motor bolts to the regulator from the back side, instead of the front allen bolts that the OEM used. Not an issue, but know you need to have the entire thing assembled before you put it back into the door. The second thing is that the wires were a bit short to hook up the motor while the plug is secured to the metal panel with the OEM clips. I cut off one of the clips and turned the connector around and it worked just fine. The motor isn’t of the same quality as the original (a little louder), but compared to the dealer prices ($166 for the regulator and the motor is discontinued), this thing was a steal and fixed my 22 year year old van. The part works, just use your head when mounting it. The seller could have packed it better, but whatever.

I recently purchased a van and the driver and passenger windows were inoperable. I purchased the window regulator with motor for less than I could purchase the regulator separately. The aftermarket product is of far superior quality than the OEM parts that needed replacing. I highly recommend this product.

The winding cable for the window broke within days. I think I got to use the window 3 times before it broke and the cable came unspooled.
