Box included everything needed to change out windows Assembly. I had never change one, but it was a lot easier than expected. Highly recommend this product.

I’ve been driving around with a window stuck up for 2yrs, I final got the courage to try this. It really wasn’t that hard. Get the tools you will need and just do it. Find a YouTube video on this and your set. It took 1 hr to complete the job . And yes, up is down, down is up but screw it, it works

motor was wired in reverse (had to press down on the window to get it to go up, etc.) good thing I checked it before buttoning up the door.
after reversing wires, and installing, tested it and it worked fine. 2 hours later, my truck battery was dead.
disconnected so I wouldn’t drain my batteries, and ordered a motorcraft OEM part.
I drove around after disconnecting it, and this thing rattles like a tin can, very noisy, not as sturdy. quite disappointed in the overall quality. I guess you get what you pay for- but in this case I’ll pay 2-3 times the price to get a quality product that isn’t reversed, doesn’t drain my battery, and doesn’t rattle in my door terribly!

Product was easy to install and seem to be a quality product. How ever I had to give it 4 stars for the little pigtail wiring extender. These we manufactured a little bit wrong. The electrical connector for the window motor was to short to reach the connector so they tried to remedy the situation by adding a pig tail extender. Sadly the pig tail is wired improperly because up is now down and down it up on my window. Not the worst issue. The window now works which is what I wanted. And proper pig tail would have been nice.

It fits in place perfectly, but the switch is reversed.

The mechanical part of this was fine, however for my 2004 F150 Super Crew (not heritage) the window motor was wired reversed… (Up button goes down, Down button goes up). They did supply a short extension cable for the motor connection because the motor lead is too short to plug into the original connector in the door. So to resolve the reversal of the window motor I switched the leads around in the short extension cable as shown in the picture. There is a red keeper in the male end that you can pull out and then push out the pins and install them in reverse order, then re-install the keeper. This resolved the direction issue in my case. I have put several of these regulators in my truck (Thx ford) and never had this issue before, but I didn’t get them from this supplier.

After reading some egative reviews on this product, I took a gamble of buying it anyway. It fit right in like the original. The control switch are reversed if you directly plug the cable without using the adapter that it came with. Time will tell to how long this product will last but for now I am satisfied.
