Includes a pre installed crush washer on the 17mm drain plug. Gasket it comes with is questionable so I went with a good quality brand that I trust. Seems to be of heavy gauge steel, at least as thick as OEM, maybe thicker. Since installing it has already come in handy multiple times since my fluid was black as night and needed to be swapped.
Direct replacement for 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 z71

Nice heavy duty Tran pan. I bought this pan to replace the oem one, that I accidentally bent. 1 inconvenient issue I had was there is a small step in the corner of the pan. This caused a issue when trying to seat flat to the bottom of the tran. Had to buy a different filter to work with the pan.

I’m very certain that I will not have any problems with this oil pan. Heavy duty pan for sure. Over twice the weight of my original pan. But it has a drain plug and that’s why I ordered it. So I can get it drained before I pull it off and wrench it around the exhaust pipes and spill the oil everywhere. Now it’s not going to happen now.

The drain plug has a reference mark on it on where to line it up for tightening. Plus, I used my torque wrench to put the proper torque on it. It has a small leak at the plug. Should’ve left the old one on there.

Does not fit 2002 gmc Yukon

Easy install, I got this pan because it has a drain plug. Seems to be built tough and I don’t expect any problems with it.

This is a great upgrade. If you do your own maintenance and don’t want to make a mess. I would highly recommend double check drain plug to make sure it is tight

Worth it to have a drain plug!
