I like that this was easy to put together and install on my car vent.
It works very well with an iPhone mag safe case. Which, I have one. However, it does not work well without a mag safe case. If you drop your phone as B often as I do, spend the money for a mag safe case to go with it.
The nice thing about this is I know where my cell phone is driving down the road. The magnetic mount keeps my phone in sight and not falling under my seat.

Actually I’m not using this phone mount for a phone. I bought a car radio player to use with my cell phone. It came with a mount that suctions to the windshield or dash. After a couple bumps in the road, it disconnects. Very distracting while you’re driving at highway speeds. This holder clamps to the A/C vent and holds quite tight! I attached a metal bar to the back or the “head unit” and it sticks to this mount perfectly! (The “head unit” is about 3 or 4 times the size of my I-phone) I’ve used it for a couple weeks and not once has it fallen. It’s solid, secure and durable! Great purchase! Oh, it works for cell phones too!

After the clips on my third clamp-type phone holder broke, I decided to give this magnetic holder a try. I’ve had it for three months now, and I’ve been really happy with how well it works with my iPhone 14 Pro. I was skeptical that the magnet would hold my phone as my bumpy ride Subaru Forester muddled through the potholes of a Northeast Ohio winter, but it has not dropped it once. It’s super easy to attach the phone and pull it off when you need to. Super pleased with this purchase.

This product is awesome. Easily attached to the a/c vents in the car and holds firmly onto the vent slats — it does push the slats above and below a little bit, but no seeming adverse effect. The holder grips the phone strongly by the magnet. I have a Smartish Gripmunk case for my iPhone for charging in the house, and this holder does a great job of a strong connection without having to put another magnet in the case or having to do anything else. The holder also rotates on a ball so you get full 360 control of where you want the position to be, and you can lock it in place. Just went on 5 hour road trips, on some less than perfect roads, and no issues with the phone falling off.

This mount works well if you need an easily removable phone mount which I typically only need for longer trips. some reservations that I had about this mount was thatI do get a little nervous of all vent phone mounts just because I always feel these thing will bust off the fragile pieces of plastic – but so far so good. It does minimize the ability to direct airflow on the vent that the mount is attached to, but not a big deal. The magnets keep the phone attached well, and is also easy to adjust if I need to rotate the phone just by loosening the collar. I do also like the alligator clamp that makes it easy to install or remove the mount from the vent. Overall a solid mount.

I am an Uber driver and my iPhone is attached to the car vent while driving. Before buying this product my new iPhone 13 and case were too heavy to be supported by my original magnet. But this product works perfectly so far. After the first day of use yesterday and driving around LA’s bumpy roads for 8 hours the product stayed in place and never fell off the magnet. The mechanism that tightens the holder to the vent is ingenious. This may be the best $16 I ever spent.

Easy to install and very sturdy. Holds iphone securely and you can easily connect a charging cord to keep the phone charged or connect to your car’s media player. The only issues, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is that as with all holders that mount to the car’s vent it blocks much of the air coming out of the vent, and if the vent turns easily left or right (as mine does when turning a corner hard) the phone and mount can turn away from the driver. This isn’t a fault of the mount, just an issue when using the vent as a mounting point.
