Take my advise, tape down the existing placement of the arms/gearing on the wipers when you are changing these out. My dog bumped into the assembly while I was changing out the motor and the assembly shifted. It took a better part of two days to figure out how it’s supposed to sit in the rest position, and during this time I had to keep removing the wiper motor and making small adjustments to get the wipers to stay on the windshield or not park in the middle of the windshield.

I was skeptical due to the low price compared to the dealership and auto parts stores. The motor works amazing, was easy to install, and would buy it again and again if needed.

In the extreme cold (single digits and below) the motor doesn’t turn off. Also randomly turn of from time to time. (With the switch off)

This is the SECOND exact item I have ordered, and they were BOTH broken in the exact same way. The attachment point for the wiring harness was completely destroyed. It’s not only made of very thin and fragile plastic, but it’s packaged where this part DIRECTLY contacts the cardboard box and is easily broken by impact from the outside.
I ordered the first one and the receptacle was COMPLETELY broken off. Initiated a return, and the second one was broken in the exact way, albeit not completely sheared off.
Save your damn money and buy a different part.

Installed as expected and gets the job done on our 2012 VW Jetta. The process can be a little tricky for an amateur mechanic, but there are good videos on YouTube that show how to replace the wiper motor without breaking your windshield or anything else.
