Only using for a couple of months but so far it works as described and gives me the piece of mind that it will hopefully deter a thief. Just a small bump of the scooter gives a warning sound. Then if bumped again it sounds for 30 seconds. Easy to place and very easy to use.

If someone really wants to steal your bike, they’re gonna get it, but this alarm (and a couple VERY GOOD locks) can improve your chances of hanging onto your fine ride under most circumstances. I’ve purchased two of these alarms, one for my ‘Lectric One eBike and one for my cargo eBike. Both work as advertised and produce a nice, loud alarm if someone doesn’t learn from the warning “chirp” that sounds whenever the bike is jostled.
I like that I can set it for different alarm sounds and volume levels, though I’m not sure why anyone would want less than the maximum noise setting, considering it’s stated purpose.
On the downside: It’s not terribly well-made. The little plastic disc that covers the speaker fell off on day two. The unit still works, but I’m guessing eventually that exposed speaker is going to get wet or brittle or dirty or whatever else the little plastic disc was supposed to prevent. The remote control also seems a tiny bit on the flimsy side, though it works very well and the range is more than acceptable.
For the money, this unit is a pretty good deal. And the peace of mind it gives me is worth a few bucks.

The Wsdcam Bike Alarm is loud, very loud! It’s easy to install, and should the situation arise, would do a great job deterring thieves. The remote control, adjustable sensitivity and sounds make it super convenient. It measures approximately 3.75″H, 1.5″W, 1″D. Great value and super cheap peace of mind!

Alarm works well and is definitely loud. The fob also works well. Attached under the seat of my e-bike and hides well. My concern is the alarm and changing the batteries. I took the alarm apart and there are 4 tabs inside the compartment to connect both halves of the alarm. I was very concerned that the tabs would break when I literally had to rip both halves apart. Hopefully the batteries will last a long time because the weak spot on this alarm are those tabs. I can see the tabs as possibly the first breaking point on this alarm. Hopefully that won’t be the case but it is definitely a concern. Time will tell.

I came to this purchase one week too late. Thieves nicked my seat, lights, and a bike rack I loved.
I lock my bike in my basement in a NYC brownstone.
I live in Harlem. Lot of bike thieves and crackheads find ways into buildings or residents themselves steal your stuff.
If I would have had this baby. No way. The whole building would hear. No joke. The walls are cement, and the high pitch sound resonates at a deafening tone. Even if no one were around, the would be thief would actually get ear damage taking the time to work out my locks. I myself hurt my ears just setting up the device. Wow.
Ive set it to the highest sensitivity. If a spider farts it goes off. Love it.
Oddly, now my concern is hurting someone’s ears or waking the building up if it goes off.
I’m on the 5th floor. And yes, I hear it.
I bought a bike stand to go with it. I couldn’t have any accidental tips or falls just from placing it on the wall, I used to do that and the bike would often shift. So, I feel I have a really good set up now. Stable. So any movement of the bike is 99% intentional.
Lets assume a ridiculous scenario: I turn on the alarm, but I only place it on my seat. No ties or stick tape. Can the thief still get to my bike? Well, sure. But not before he sets off the alarm and I hear it. Plus, then what…. the alarm is going off, where’s he going to put it? Needs a bucket of water to place it in.
So… there. The only way I see to defeat this device is with another key. A hacked signal or some other Jason Bourne shit. You need a bucket of water. Owner has to arm the alarm, but not attach it to bike. Then thief has bucket of water ready to go, gentle moves alarm into bucket of water. Have I thought this out too much?
My point. The alarm will trip even if the thief tries to remove the device, even if the thief knows its there ahead of time.
Said thieves would have to sound proof the area some how. Its that loud. Especially in an enclosed area.
Ive only had it for a couple days now….. So I dont have time on my side as far as a long run record. We’ll see. I feel like Ive spent the best $17 on protection for my $1000 plus bike.
Even if this alarm broke every 6 months. I would still replace it with another. Its that cost effective.
I cannot speak for longevity…. so thats an if. I hope all the hardware and software holds up.
So far so good. I sleep better at night. And besides. Its pretty BOSS. Walking up to my bike and hitting an arm or disarm key. Its fun.
Pros:
Solid simple construction
Cost effective
Easy install
Varied sensitivity and volume….
It works!
LOUD!
Cons:
Im unsure of battery life, and I dont know if it warns of low battery.
Id assume alarm is best for places where your bike isn’t getting jostled by other people sharing a bike rack or mount.
Id hate to F with the innocent, with a sonic blast, cause a heart attack. Sensitivity settings may assist here?
Size? Its a little on the big side. It ruins a ‘clean look’ on a sleek bike.
Hiding it could be an issue unless you had a bike rack(underneath). I wouldn’t want it inside anything.
I’m thinking of buying another just for the bike rack alone…. and maybe one more to put on the milk in the fridge.
To give my roommates late night milk cravings a freak.
Ill update in a few. And I’ll do a pic of final set up. Waiting on a few things.
Cheers,

Ordered this for a European bike trip where I wanted something cheap and cheerful to just give me peace of mind when I park my motorcycle overnight, coffee stop etc.
Ok so the English translation isn’t the best and wouldn’t get an A* in a GCSE but you get the idea easy enough and it works a treat. Click button to arm and click button to disarm. Stick it on with the supplied stick pads and cable ties and if the bike is jogged or moved the thing lets rip with a shrill ear piercing scream that will keep most thieves at bay. If they want to steal your bike they’ll get it anyway even with the best alarm kit. It was £17, it does the job and will do fine.

I’ve been using this alarm on my motorcycle for over 6 months now and it does everything it promised. It’s loud and will grab attention if someone tries to move your bike or hits it with their car or something. Just make sure you hide it in a hard to find spot and remember to disarm before you try to ride off again.
I loved it so much I got another one from this brand with the silver remote for my other motorcycle but that one’s defective so I’ll probably just get this one again.

Not a bad bike alarm. It’s not water resistant tho. So it was fried the first rain test I put it through. It was easy to install it’s easy to use zip ties tho.

Edited Review: This is a great product. Very loud and effective theft deterrent. The original instructions were hard to understand & all but impossible to figure out how to adjust any of the settings – but the company reached out after I posted my original review & sent me a little pdf with a much clearer “How To” guide & I’m pleased to say it works like a charm now! Since it comes shipped to you on the highest settings, the alarm is blaring & the sensitivity is way too high. Now that I was able to figure out how to adjust it, it works great. Someone actually complimented me on it at a store the other day. This is well worth the money you will spend on it, & it comes from a company who cares about their reviews and its customers. 2 thumbs up. 🙂
