The factory cable for the Yamaha 2.5hp 4 stroke outboards are impossible to find unless you order and wait a month for one from China. This one doesn’t have the 45° elbow, but works fine without it. The 28.5 length is fine, and both ends of the cable fit as they need to. The crimped end on the carb end of the cable needs trimmed off to fit through the connector, but the original on mine didn’t have one either. I put a small piece of shrink tube on before cutting it to make sure it didn’t fray. Hopefully it’ll last a while. I’ll probably keep another on hand for a spare for only 9 bucks.

I purchased this throttle cable for my GK-19 Roketa Buggy which is a 250cc. What I liked about the cable is that it was the correct length and had the proper bend in the tubing.
What I disliked were the nuts and threading on the tubing that attaches to the carburetor. When trying to tighten the nuts, they stripped out easily. I ended up having to crimp both Nuts with a pair of vise grips so they would properly grip on the threads of the tube.
