As most of us use these as charger points for our “toys” that have smaller batteries that we are trying to get away from replacing every year, they could have made the design a little less bulky, even did away with the 4 screw flange and moved to a simple threaded shaft with a nut to make it look more professional and not need 3/4 of a panel for mounting. Other then that basic, so it works like it should!

They do what they are supposed to. It would be hard to get wire and this simple connector wrong .

I have been using these for mounting on ATV’s for a quick and easy port for the battery maintainers rather that having the plug dangling from the battery . the one thing to remember is that if you use it as a charging port THE RED WIRE WILL BE NEGATIVE AND THE BLACK WITE WILL BE POSITIVE, these were not made as charging ports but work fine for

Red and black wires are reversed. Female terminal is black, male is red. You can use it knowing the colors are non-standard and the black wire must be connected to positive and the red wire must be connected to negative.
