It works great. I have used it on my Honda 1975 cb125s metal parts I’m restoring.

NOTHING works better for shining silver and metal. Even the best stuff isn’t this good. Great product, easy to use, excellent results. Will continue to use from now on. You should try it and see for yourself.

My photo is trying to capture the current state of my rotor/stator/alternator cover on my ‘81 CB650. All 4 of the chrome engine cover plates that are chrome had some sort of corrosive splatter of something on them when I bought this bike. I ended up needing to use double 0 steel wool to remove it and the spots left a stain in the clear coat sprayed onto the chrome by Honda. After I got the stain out the surface showed the scratches from the steel wool too much and the clear coat had started to remove from the scrubbing.
So, I went over the whole part with the steel wool, then move to wet sanding with 800 grit, then 1000, then 1200, then 1500, then 1700, then 2000, then 2500, then 3000, then moved to polishing it with some Flitz and then Brasso. However, it still wasn’t up to what I know it should look like and still had darker discoloration with the edges looking brighter.
I bought Wizards Metal Polish and went over the part again with Brasso to get it as clean as I could. Then opened the Wizards and plucked off a piece of the cotton candy polish material.
I LOVED the smell. It reminded me of the pucks that sit in urinals in really clean bathrooms, but not in a bad way at all. Obviously even though it’s in a bathroom, the puck does make the whole room smell good. Don’t let this comment from me turn you off of getting it, please.. 😆
Anyways, so I used the Wizards on my part and it did a fantastic job. The fluid in the polishing material started out white as I first touched each spot but very quickly turned brown after going over it for 10-20 seconds. I moved over the whole part taking my time in sections then went over it again the same way. The moisture from the polish was really dark brown/black at this point. I will say that if you have been polishing or sanding with another product before using the Wizards, I recommend washing your hands thoroughly to get off all the black stuff from removing the filth from the metal because I noticed the polish material removed the filth from my hands as well which did dirty up the piece of polishing candy quicker than if I had squeaky clean hands.
Either way though, I moved to a microfiber cloth and used it dry to essentially go through the polishing steps again to remove all of the now filthy polish on the part. It doesn’t just wipe right on off like detail spray or even Flitz, so take your time to really wipe it in and get it all up.
Once I went over the part 2-4 times it removed all off the discoloration from the part still having dirt and crud in it. It really did exactly what I wanted it to do and I’m impressed!
In case you’re wondering, I’ll be doing all of the engine covers this way and once they are all like this part in the photo, I’ll do them all over again together quickly as a last cleanup and then they will be sprayed with another clear coat like Honda did. If you don’t, the parts will begin to pit, rust, and tarnish again first time they get wet. I’ve ordered a clear coat like no other though, not some can found in Home Depot.
I ordered the Duracoat Clear Coat Aerosol Kit with Trustrip, full gloss sheen, extra adjustable spray tip, and added in the UV protection option. Duracoat is traditionally a firearms finish product but it’s so clean, durable, protective, and long lasting of a finish that I know it will be perfect for these engine covers that sit closer to the ground with all the water, mud, dirt, shoes, small children, and rocks that manage to mangle the finish up when running over them. Duracoat will lock the perfect finish in that I’ve spent the last day on perfecting.

Effective poliah. Small piece of the fiber was all that was needed.

I recently refinished a 1950’s diner-style kitchen table. The aluminum around the edges had a lot of surface rust, scratching and corrosion from daily wear and some time left outside. After a LOT of cleaning it was clean, but not as shiny as I wanted it. (First picture) I read about the Wizard’s Metal polish and got to work. It was really easy to use and the proof was all over my microfiber polishing cloths! I threw away at least five completely black cloths before I was finished. But the aluminum now gleams like new chrome! It wasn’t the cleanest process and I will say midway through I tried another product because I thought this was a little expensive. The other metal polish couldn’t hold a candle! I immediately bought another box of the Wizard’s and was grateful that I had found something that worked so well. It took 1 1/2 boxes to finish the whole table, so not an inexpensive product but honestly, totally worth it for the end result and the ease of use. I do wish it had a resealable bag or at least a better box to keep the unused cotton, though.

The best polishing “wadding” I have used, and it smells pleasant as well! For me, has worked much better on brass kick plates and other metal than the most famous brass cleaning brand.

Actually bought some for my active duty nephew as a stocking stuffer and he loves it too! One of those products you will always keep own hand!

It works great, easy to use
