This is not a WIX filter. It is a fake…. It almost cost me my truck engine. When the oil is cold and the oil pressure is high the filter will not hold the oil seal. It causes me to lose 2.75 gallons of oil in 20 seconds. Had to shutdown in the middle of the road and call a tow truck.

Used on my duramax with proper filter adapter and found engine runs cooler as well as oil stays cleaner looking longer. Definitely recommend.

The WIX oil filter fit my CAT C7 engine just fine with no problems. The filter packaging was a little beat up and one dent in the bottom of the filter, but it did not affect the performance. I was a little disappointed that the country of origin is China. I am not sure how to rate an oil filter, but it fit fine does not leak and appears to be the correct replacement for the factory filter.
