For my fellow Toyota techs doing the ZE7, the gods have answered your prayers. You can literally install all 4 pistons in 30 seconds. No slips with those oil rings either. No forcing, tapping or wiggling, just push and they fall in. Why Toyota hasn’t made this an SST is beyond me. Anyone using this for an 88.5 mm bore piston install will be pleased. I gave 5 stars because a 6 wasn’t available. Best money I ever spent.

It’s a dedicated Unitasker tool that only works with one diameter of piston, but if you do one type of engine often, this is a dream come true. You will never struggle with a difficult set of rings ever again. Fit your rings on the piston, align your gaps, lube the skirt, slide the piston into the tool, put the rod into the bore, align the tool with the deck, and gently push. No hammerhandle blows, no bent rings, no effort. I honestly do not even feel the transition from the compressor to the bore when sending the piston home. You will be a believer after using this tool once.
