I can’t imagine ever putting in a set of pistons & rings without one of these, it was so easy and worth every penny. No way to damage the rings and it goes in like butter after you lube it with oil, use non detergent oil if you are rebuilding

Just push the piston (with the rings installed) in the compressor from the larger opening side, then place the compressor on top of the block and continue pushing the piston in the cylinder. Easy!
