This wireless Carplay adapter is great! Seamless setup. Once set up, it automatically starts every time you get in your car. No plugging in your iPhone, unlocking the phone, etc. This is used on a 2019 Subaru Forester Sport. I wish I had found it sooner.

I bought this because my car has a wired CarPlay and thought it would be nice so I wouldn’t have to plug my phone in anymore. Well, the instructions for it hardly make sense so you have to guess at the steps to pair it, then it only worked once for maybe half a day and it won’t connect to my phone anymore. All it says it pair with Bluetooth which I have done several times and it won’t connect. Oh, yeah and don’t leave it plugged in even though the advertisement says it turns off, it doesn’t and will drain your battery. Don’t waste your money buying this crappy product and just stick with the extra 5 second of plugging your phone in. Atleast with your phone plugged in it charges and you get CarPlay.

I got this product to convert my carplay set up from wired to wireless in my new car. For the most part, it works really well and was pretty easy to set up.
A few issues I’ve noticed:
– about 50% of the time, it gets stuck on the black loading screen and won’t actually pull up carplay.
– every once in a while, the audio pauses or skips.
– there is a few second delay from my phone to the car with audio.
I still continue to use it because when it works, it’s great. I tried the troubleshooting tips provided and they haven’t made a difference. Tried to find a way to contact the seller but I can only find options to try troubleshooting yourself.

Please read updates! I have changed my review since I left originally one. I decided to leave all updates and reviews to show how great this company listens and how they have gone above and beyond to make sure they are selling a quality product! Bought original in end of June of 2024 and issues fully resolved and working device at the end of August.
Original review: I struggled on how to review this device. I would not recommend it to someone that plays music from the phone. After 2 songs I have to unplug the device and replug it in because the music starts skipping and getting all static. Tried it on another car and phone. It was easy to set up and connected great once the car started. Love the idea of not having to plug my phone in to make apple CarPlay work. Just wish it would allow me to play my music and more than 2 songs.
Edit for update. Customer service was fantastic. They reached out to me after I had left my review and I am satisfied with how the issues has been resolved!
Another update: This company has awesome customer service. If you are having issues reach out to them. After my first review they reached at to me and I was happy with the resolution. Last week they reached out to me again and had done some digging and found a fix for the issue I was having. They sent me a replacement device and it works fabulous! I don’t know many companies that will go out of their way to make sure people are truly satisfied with what they bought! Will for sure recommend this device and company to all my friends.

Got this to get wireless apple play on the motorcycle, it takes a few seconds to hook up but once it connects it works very well.
