I have a 2020 Mercedes GLC 300. It is equipped with CarPlay however it is not equipped with wireless CarPlay. I got this adapter, it is my second offbrand adapter that I have used. I have an iPhone running the latest (iOS18+) version.
The adapter looks and functions as expected, and as described and shown in photos. It is easy to use and easy to set up.
Here is my experience with these offbrand adapters. They last for about a year and then start to wear out or the technology get updated for the CarPlay and/or the operating system of the phone and you start to see small issueswith compatibility.
Also, if your car is equipped with Bluetooth on its own and/or Wi-Fi, your phone may struggle between connecting to the car’s Wi-Fi or Bluetooth vs. the adapter‘s Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You do not get this issue when you do a wired connection for CarPlay because it is two different types of transmission. For example, when I get a call and want to use Bluetooth, my phone inherently wants to use the car’s native Bluetooth system that it has been synced to, then it reads the adapter and transfers from the car over to the adapter, which then puts it into wireless CarPlay. It causes issues when I’m speaking to people and sometimes even drops the call. It’s a pain and dangerous to try to adjust manually when you’re driving.
I suggest if you are going to use this wireless CarPlay adapter that you disconnect/forget the Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi that is natively available in your car from your phone first, so you do not have any of these interference or confusion issues. This may seem my common sense to people who are well experienced in car audio, however, I found this out through trial and error so I thought I would share it.
Overall, I feel the price is pretty steep for what you get in this adapter as there are many others that are at a cheaper price point that do the same thing. There was no feature or function about this one that I found to be superior to any of the others at a lower price point.
I can recommend because it works as intended but be aware of the above when you purchase.

This wireless CarPlay is a very sophisticated product. Both the outer packaging and the instructions for use are amazing, and the setup is super simple. Just plug it into a USB port and connect via Bluetooth. 5GHz WiFi ensures a stable and fast connection. It is a wireless link method, which is very suitable for navigation, music, and making calls in my car. The experience is great and I totally recommend using the product.

With this wireless carplay adapter, just followed the user manual. I don’t need to use USB cable now. I am able to select my songs from my phone and play them in my car. Yeah~ Fast delivery and easy to setup. Highly recommended!!

When I bought a stereo w/CarPlay, I assumed that CarPlay + Bluetooth meant that my phone would automatically, wirelessly sync up with the stereo. Silly me. This fixes that frustration. Positives: 1) It automatically syncs up when I start the vehicle; nothing to bother with. 2) Nothing to recharge; it draws its power through the stereo. 3) I like the look of it – especially compared to others I’ve seen. 4) Firm USB connection. Negatives: 1) A longer wire would be nice – I don’t like leaving something dangling in mid-air. Three ways you might rectify this as a consumer: use padded adhesive tape to secure it to the dash, add a USB extension, or do as I did and insert a right angle USB connector… that is, if you have a shelf or cubby nearby in the dash that it can sit in. 2) I did get a couple of black screens during my first few days of use… these were resolved by rebooting the stereo, and since the stereo is also new, I’m really not sure which item caused the problem. Since then, it’s been performing perfectly for weeks.

i was really excited to try this car play. I have a Mercedes glc and a Samsung s23 so i should be able to use the wireless car play with no issues, but it won’t stay connected to the Bluetooth. it connects to the Wi-Fi and then the Bluetooth for all of 30 seconds then disconnects from both and it repeats the same behavior over and over and never connects to the car to be able to use. I also tried it with an iPhone 15 and it did the same thing. it connects but then disconnects so I haven’t been able to do anything or use it. I keep trying it every few times I go in my car just to see if it is working but no luck.
