I shopped around HARD for one that checked all my boxes! My dash is weird so I don’t have many options. I really wanted the kind like this that STAYS lit up even when your phone is in the mount, or even the color changing holders but I have enough colorful LEDs in my car so I picked this mount mainly for the long arm. It was the longest arm I could find on Amazon with a charging mount. The light will be on until you put your phone in and it automatically closes btw. And the arm is adjustable both ways, you can customize how far that arm comes out horizontally and the whole arm moves and turns as well. The ball joint for the phone mount has very nice range of angles as well, you can see me moving it a bit in the video. Makes for very nice movie/show viewing for your passengers!
Definitely happy with this mount. The only thing that would make it perfect for me like I said is if the light stayed on when your phone is inserted. I love my flashy lights, what can I say? And maybe have an option with RGB changing colors too. Add some basic effects to choose from, and voila! The perfect charging mount. Other than that, I like it. My fiance got one after liking mine so much and it’s nowhere near as nice and it’s always dropping his phone on him (that sleek shiny gold modern looking one with the curvy arms that go vertical. It looks like it ha blue/pink lights but it’s just the design on the mount.
The sensor works great, it hasn’t opened and dropped my phone not once. The charging is definitely fast charging but you have to have a fast charging PORT as well as using either the cord they give you with this, which IS a fast charging cord, or your own fast cord. My phone charges just as fast as my cord at home! I was really surprised about that, I haven’t found a mount that actually fast charges! It’s also nice because you can just take the plug out of the mount and let someone else borrow it or use it for something else while your mount is still holding your phone and will open/close a few more times before the internal battery dies. So nice how they did that! Because I’m sure a lot of us don’t always grab our phones before shutting the car off.
I’ve been using this thing since before Christmas and it’s still just as good as day 1, minus the indents my fiance made with his metal backed case that overheated it. 🤦🏽♀️ Luckily we caught it right away!

There is really nothing I do not like about this car accessory. My dashboard cover is not compatible with suction cups in general, and the summer sun melts the holders off of my windshield on a regular basis, so the best option for me is choosing the ones that can be attached to the vent. First I have tried some models that closes like a clothes peg, but they tend to fall off at the slightest bump. Then I discovered this product with the hooked fixing and I will never go back to anything else. The retractable hook holds on to the vent grill securely and can easily bear the weight of the phone, yet it is easy to take off if needed. The blue light is not so bright to become distractive, but it guides me to the charger even in the pitch black car at night. The way this holder automatically grabs the phone when it’s placed in the cradle is a tiny bit of luxury and simply delights me. And above all, I am very satisfied with the fast charging ability. The product came with absolutely everything I needed to start using it out of the box, including the cable of a perfect length and even a cigarette lighter adapter. Fantastic product with great build quality, it is much recommended.

I have had a lot of car phone mounts in the past. No matter how good they were, there was always something not quite right about them. This one is hands-down the best. Took no time to install, very stable and snugged and I just love the way the cradle opens and closes electronically. The unit doesn’t get in the way and the cable is hidden away nicely because the bottom of the stem is pretty much right next to the power outlet. Very streamlined and modern look in my car. I just love it.

I have never tried to mount it on a window, or depend on the suction alone. I cannot attest to that working. But the silicone sticky pad thing works well to hold it in place on top of my dashboard. Clamping knobs are secure, and the arm does not sag over time. The lighted border of the charging pad is a nice guide at night, and does not distract while I am driving (it is not too bright, and is not a problem while driving). Charging is reliable, and I suppose the speed is fine, but I haven’t really compared it with other types.
If anything, I’d welcome a power switch, so it can simply hold my phone without pushing a charge.
The clamp is powered. Simply place the phone on the holder, and the clamping arms will automatically slide into place. Pressing the release button reverses the process. When the car is powered off, the clamp retains enough charge to clamp/release one time. usually.
Clamping pads are of generous size, so my phone in its protective case has no trouble being held securely.
