Fit my 06 Tacoma perfectly. Install was easy. Pop out the old blank and pop in the new switch. No directions, but the image on the sales page was enough. The backlight is white, while the rest of my dash is amber. Not a big deal since I hooked the backlight up to the same switch so it’s only lit when the lights are on. Hopefully it holds up to use.

Purchased this switch to replace the cheaper version that came with a fog light kit. The MRJ switch has good looking, white illuminated graphics that match the factory switches in our 2013 Tacoma. If you wire this properly, the “FOG LIGHTS” legend (bottom of switch) illuminates when you turn on your parking/headlights and the graphic legend (top of switch) glows slightly. When you push the fog light switch to the “on” position, the graphic legend illuminates at full brightness to indicate the fog lights are on. As with all switches of this type, you MUST wire them to a relay to control your lights instead of using the switch itself to switch the 12V power to your aux lights. If you wire the switch to control the power directly to your aux lights, YOU WILL DESTROY THE SWITCH or worse, your car. If you don’t understand why relays are used and why your vehicle already uses dozens of them to switch high power current, then stop right now and find someone who understands vehicle wiring. There are many reviews of switches like these where people claim the switch melted and burned when they wired it up –a sure indication that the switch was used improperly without a relay to control the high power to the aux lights.

I was unable to get the wiring to conform to factory specifications as all places I contacted were not helpful. I was able to attach this switch to the dash after creating a space for it. Looks like a factory install.

Feels like the OEM switch, fits perfectly well like as if it came from factory. Even the button when pressed feels as though it came from factory with the vehicle. I really like how the switch works.
