I used this wool bonnet to buff out a marine polish I put on my painted kitchen cabinets .
I was worried about using a cheap wool bonnet on my kitchen cabinets.
I use wool bonnets from other sources on my boat and car- but I can make a mistake or two and no one would know .
After I hand applied the polish and hand buffed off the polish, I finished the process with my Black and Decker orbital polisher with this wool bonnet.
The results were excellent.
The only downside- and I’m not sure it’s a real downside- is some of the bonnet wool would come off as I used the polisher.
One bonnet was enough and I anticipate being able to polish and buff out the cabinets again using this bonnet…I will buy another to use on my car however.

This is a good functional polishing bonnet for a great price. It fits my inexpensive old Turtle Wax orbital polisher (identical to the Wen) perfectly… nice and snug. I’m using it with Shurhold’s Buff Magic marine-grade polishing compound to remove oxidation from the fiberglass panels on my travel trailer.
USE HINT: During use, occasionally brush the nap on the bonnet using a firm nylon tire scrub brush. This raises and loosens the nap while also removing any loose fibers. Immediately after use, hand wash using a strong mixture of warm water and liquid car or dish soap then rinse and air dry. Once dry, fluff the nap with a clean nylon tire brush.

Very sorry to report this.The battery for the polisher/buffer is totally dead.It wouldent charge and i’m now left with a useless product.Emailed AutoRight, they said can’t help. Please help.

I did work short term, but quickly the buffer pad wore through. I was only doing a jet ski, lasted only 3/4 through the job and then the buffer started making black marks on the gelcoat, in inspection I realized the pad had worn through.
