Once again I’m very pleased with my Dynomax muffler. I’ve replaced every muffler on every one of my vehicles for 35+ yrs and have never been disappointed

This worked for me. I have a 2010 Chevy impala. The one thing I will say is the collar could be a lil longer with that being said you’re going to want to cut off as close to the muffler as possible. I used a 2 1/4 inch muffler clamp the whole job took 15 minutes took longer to gather tools than it did to do the job. I used a reciprocating saw to cut muffler off slid exhaust pipe in to muffler about a 1/2 to3/4 of an inch bolted the hanger back on gave it a good wiggle to seat properly and put the muffler clamp on and let the car down pretty easy and quick overall good value good product sounds great 10 outta 10 would buy again

The muffler was exactly what I needed for my car

Arrived a day later. Weld on the tail pipe was a bit messy but the muffler works.

This muffler fit perfectly on my 2008 Impala. I cut the old pipe as close to the muffler as possible with a grinder and sawzall. The new one slid over the old pipe. I used a muffler clamp that I purchased separately. The whole job took about 45 minutes. I took the rear tire off for easier access.

Just buy a 2 and1/4 clamp cut the pipe close to the muffler as you can slips rite over the factory pipe. Clamp and or weld and done took me 15 minutes

I used a metal blade in my Ryobi cordless reciprocating saw and cut the existing exhaust pipe as close to the old muffler as possible. Without removing the passenger-side rear wheel it was challenging to cut the top of the exhaust pipe so I ended up cutting all but 1/4″ to 1/2″, slipped the muffler out of the two rubber isolators on the tailpipe end then “rotated” the muffler a few times to cause the remaining bit of metal to snap.
The new muffler’s hangers fit nicely into the rubber isolators and the old exhaust pipe slipped into the new muffler with ease. I slid the recommended u-bolt clamp over the mufflers inlet ensuring that the old exhaust pipe was well enough inside then used a deep 1/2″ (?) socket to tighten the nuts.
It was immediately obvious that the old muffler was long overdue to be replaced. The new one was a direct fit, overall installation time was less than 30 minutes from driving the car up onto ramps, removing the old muffler and down the street for a test drive. My wife commented how she can now hear the wind noise while driving instead of the rumble of the exhaust, I guess I am replacing door seals next.
