This part is well made and functions as described. Easy to install and temperature control is not in check.

The resistance across the terminals at room temperature should be around 4500 ohms. I tested the resistance with a multimeter and it was 36000 ohms.

I purchased this temp sensor for my 2000 Ford F250 6.8 V10. After installation, the coolant temp gauge stayed on cold, even after many miles of driving. I ended up replacing this with an original Ford Motorcraft part and that worked perfectly. Because the package has been opened I cannot return the sensor, very disappointing.
