There was one hole from the welder burning through. But it’s okay other than that can’t beat $45 for a muffler for a diesel

5 stars! This is a perfect, sturdy replacement for my CAT excavator stack, little bit thicker in the middle that stock stack, but looks great on the machine, everything is now high heat black coated to look factory. This is not a straight thru pipe, it has a cup in the middle of the full 5″ baffles, causing the exhaust to go thru the screen and back thru the screen again to to outlet, making it super quiet. I installed this in conjunction with a new OEM muffer (2 separate mufflers are now on the excavator). The loudest part of the engine noise now is the fan, PVC valve and injector pump, in that order. Total full exhaust flow running the 8-cylinder diesel wide open, and soooo quiet. I am very pleased with this product!
