I used this to fab a custom “sport” exhaust on my 1991 Volvo 240 non-turbocharged (eliminated the heavy and fairly restrictive front muffler (resonator) in the system by installing an extension to this pipe) car. This pipe is for the non-turbo models only and will work solidly in that capacity.
The only thing this reviewer is NOT A FAN OF, is the non-mandrel pipe bends.
This unit connects the resonator to the rear muffler (midpipe) and is a dead perfect fit on my Volvo, and will likely work the same on your stock Volvo 200-series as well.
