worked well to replace bolts broken in the manifold on a chevy truck with a 350. was a life saver. No need to drill out the old bolts with this.

I used two of these kits and a new gasket to repair two 2.25″ flanges on my 2003 Dodge 2500 5.7L. I plan on this being a temporary repair until I need to do the whole cat. Pretty nifty kit.

My old truck had several exhaust bolts that broke off and the exhaust had essentially fallen off. Rather than try to replace bolts, drilling them out in a confined space, I purchased these repair kits. They worked beautifully. Now the truck is quiet and no more people looking around to see where all of the noise is coming from. The kits fit great, not too difficult to place, even having to do both sides. I’d recommend them to anyone needing to work on their exhaust system.

The media could not be loaded.
The flange worked out great on my 350 Chevy truck. The studs were good but the flange had rusted away along with the nuts. I couldn’t use the nuts that came with the flange on the exhaust studs because they where different type of threads.The kit came with bolts,but I used the studs that were all ready in the exhaust manifold. I had to file the bolt holes out some to get it to fit but that wasn’t as big a problem as it would of been trying to get a single piece flange on the exhaust. So I upload pictures and a video to show you what it looks like. I used the 2 1/2” 3 bolt on my 1996 Chevy truck. The exhaust shops was going to cut the pipe and put a single piece flange on at the cost of 75 dollars. I did it for 20 dollars.

I decided to roll the dice trying out this flange kit after doing a few quick measurements. This kit actually worked out pretty good for fixing up a rusted out catalytic flange on a 97 Honda Civic. It was just the right size to fit around the cat pipe and line up with the mid pipe flange.

I would like to be able to give this product a 5 star review but alas it was poor fitting and cheap bolts, nuts.
The actual arms with holes in were significantly off as we’re the placement of the actual holes. I made sure to measure the diameter of the pipe and it definitely was the correct size but the design was just poor. The hardware was sloppy and very low grade. I ended up having to weld new bolts on to the flanges (exactly what I was working at avoiding) and then shoe horn the exhaust on.
Over all I would suggest Walker really look at there design of this item as it needs some help.

Could not use the bolts cause wrong thread size. Had to buy studs and nuts from auto supply. Spacers were not used. Springs O.K. Could not assemble on manifold just not enough room to get hand between pipe and frame. You could tack weld them after putting around pipe but I used epoxy to hold together for fastening. I used them on my 1991 s 10 blazer 4 wheel drive to connect the exhaust pipe to the manifold. I saved some money by not taking it to a muffler shop.

The flange did what it was supposed to – help me reassemble the broken exhaust on my 1999 Cavalier at the Flex Pipe. The issue wasn’t with the kit, but me getting the pipes to stay where I wanted during assembly! Overall, it worked great once everything was assembled.

Will not fit the stock 2.25 exhaust size. For the Vortec 96-02 5.7. If anyone is going by the video played above,he has a custom 2.5 exhaust. Wasted my money.Good for the 99 and up gm truck setups. Because they use the 2.5″ flanges.
