Not sure why you would sell the kit without the VVT seal also. It worked fine, make sure to purchase the other seal before you start.

Part of a bunch of stuff I was doing including plugs and coils was to swap out the leaking gasket on the valve cover. It wasn’t leaking outside the engine, it was leaking into two of the spark plug recesses, one was totally filled with oil!
This one went on correctly and hasn’t leaked. Took a 3600 mile road trip after it was installed with no drama so I think we’re good for another 140k miles (how long it took the original to fail).
