This kit contains an awesome variety of cleaning solutions for your average cleaning. It came with several microfiber cloths, two cleaning mitts, and sprayers. I can hardly believe the amount of supplies that came with this kit and can’t wait to test the products.

Valentine Performance Detailing’s (VPD) complete auto care set is a comprehensive detailing kit, and it’s all the weekend washer needs to make her or his whip look clean and shiny. I’ve used all of the products, including the towels, washing mitts and applicators, and I found all to be excellent products. The Wash+Wax Soap worked great in my foaming cannon. It sprayed the car with a foamy coat of soap that didn’t immediately run down the sides of the car. I used the Heavy Duty Degreaser to clean the engine bay, and it removed grit, grim and oil with medium effort. The Interior+EXterior Cleaner left the inside looking and smelling great! My son used the quick detailer to clean his WRX. He used about 1/4 of the bottle and one of the yellow cloths. The Quick Detailer left a very nice shine, but he had also waxed the car a week earlier. The yellow cloth did leave some lint behind, but it was not excessive. Overall, I’m very happy with this whole line of auto detailing products.

Most of these have worked great on my car. I use the degreaser on an engine and while it wasn’t very dirty, it did manage to get all the dirt and gunk off the engine. The interior cleaner managed to get a lot of dirt and grease off of some interior plastics and fake leather surfaces and remove that shiny look and gave them a nice matte appearance. The only line of product I didn’t like was the Trim Reviver. It gives a wet, shiny look to the surface you apply it to, which is not something I like. However, for those that do like it, it is offered by this line of products. The towels also feel really good quality, although the wash mitts feel pretty average. Overall, I’m pretty happy and I can recommend this line of cleaners.

Long ago, I ran a little side business detailing cars. Adulthood and family obligations now mean I’m lucky to find time to do my own. This kit is absolutely perfect to get a good start on your car’s detailing needs. The towels are great, thick and plush. All the chemicals have been of high quality and I couldn’t be happier. I used one of the foam applicators with some polishing compound to remove a couple paint scrapes from my mom’s bumpers and mirrors (thanks, narrow garage door). I use the interior detailing spray the most and it leaves the surface nice and clean without any greasy old-school protectant feel. The wash mitts are fantastic, nice and thick and I have no fear of scratching the paint. Overall an excellent value for the money. Heck, just the chemicals are worth the asking price and the “free” towels are fanstastic. Highly recommend this set.
