The product purchased was used as a fog lamp relay, as advertised.
It lasted less than one hour and started smoking.
The next day, my installer opened it up and found that the unit was burnt.
He then installed a relay from his shop with the same rating and it has been operating for a few days, so far, with no problems.
I must assume from my experience with this product that it was poorly made or I just happened to receive a bad unit due to poor quality control..either way, I would not recommend this product!

Great product! Works as expected.

This relay works well. I installed it along with a vixen electric horn I installed on my boat. I went with a relay to avoid the higher amp load from the horn wearing out my switch.

Perfect. Just what he needed to get the job done and horns blowing !! Not mad at all. Recommend fersure.

This relay was defective worked for less than 2 minutes before I smelled something burning. Additionally it doesn’t fit a 96 mustang as indicated as the top piece is too long to put the fuse block cover on. I had to purchase a new one from autozone for $12.00 plus tax and that works fine. I have a feeling that this relay works for horns but maybe not for fog lights.

Worked great on my light bar setup. I previously had run this directly from the same power source as my car stereo with an interrupter switch although I do prefer running it through a relay. I was offered this relay at a discount in exchange for a review so I jumped on it. It is not at all complicated to hook up with some know how or even looking up a simple wiring diagram online. The basic setup is the same as a horn or fog light setup. It took me about an hour to run everything and set it up and worked great with a simple on off switch. Not sure how it will do in terms of longevity but so far it is working great will update if it craps out. Again I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

These are garbage. It fried out on a 9 amp load within 3 minutes. I’m an electrician by trade. I swapped out for an O’Rileys relay and it’s worked perfectly ever since. Just spend the $9 at the auto parts store
