Makes a nice volume of thick foam for car washing. Of course as with any foam cannon, the quality of the soap used is critical. I used a good quality soap and it produced good results.

I have had plenty of foam cannons over the past few years, and this one is up there with the best of the ones that I have used. For a newer brand, I expected to have issues with foam consistency and production with this, but I haven’t had any issues at all. I use CG Super Suds soap with a 50/50 water dilution. I add water so the foam isn’t too thick and actually moves the suds down the car surface, but that’s not a necessary step.
This cannon is easy to use, setup, adjust and clean. The instructions are clear and the output is predictable. You can adjust the spray pattern to suit your need. The cannon is as versatile as you need it to be.
It also costs about 60% less than higher end models. I have no problems with leaking and the product feels well made and durable. I do recommend.

This is “my” first foam cannon. But not the first one I’ve used. My son has a C. Guys foam cannon and uses their soap. I used his a couple of times and was very impressed with the thick heavy foam. I saw this one and decided to give it a try. I also bought some of the same C Guys soap he uses. A quality soap that is supposed to be max foam. I mixed it based on the C Guys soap bottle. This one just didn’t put out the thick foam his does. I did try two different pressure washers just in case. I first tried my electric one and then thought maybe it didn’t have enough pressure at 2000psi. I then tried my gas 3200psi. It didn’t do any better. I tried all adjustments on the cannon itself and still no better. The best I could get out of it was a heavy wet soap with some foam. I will try it a few more times and try another soap, this stuff ain’t cheap. Hopefully that will help. But right now the best I can give it is 4 stars.

It has been a while since I last washed and detailed my cars, so over this past weekend I got one of them done with the whole treatment. I used my pressure washer to clean of the majority of the dirt and then I used this Viking foam canon to add a rich thick layer of soapy foam to the whole car. I have used a few different foam cannons before, and the foam never comes out this thick. This thing worked so well. It does tend to use up all the solution very quickly and I will probably need to refill the bottle twice to do my truck. There is a fine line between making the bottle bigger and having too much weight to carry around in your gun. I think this Viking cannon got that balance just right. I like that you can adjust the direction of the spray to a horizontal or vertical position and the adjustment knob for the nozzle works well to change the foam thickness. I am not sure why you would not always want it to be the thickest, but anyway the ability to adjust it is there. The siphon tube works great and is able to suck up every last drop of soap in the bottle. There is a little ball with a filter at the bottom of the tube to prevent any larger things getting sucked into the siphon tube.
I have been using Chemical Guys “Pink” foaming soap and it works the best that I have used so far. A little goes a long way because you barely use any soap in the bottle and then fill with water. I think they make excellent car care products, but they are on the more expensive side. I will consider Viking products as an alternative to C.B. As I am very happy with this foam cannon.
The bottle is clear plastic which I prefer. It does seem to be the breakable plastic, but we shall see. The bottle does stand up and not fall over even with a gun attached, especially when it is full of solution. The screw on part is plastic as opposed to metal on my other foam cannon, so I hope that it will last. There are measurement gradations down the side for easy mixing ratios.
I am very impressed with this foam cannon from Viking and I can definitely recommend it…..
