I have used these on my car for drying the outside. I have also used these when washing my windows because I use a squeegee and these are very absorbent in soaking up the dirty, soapy water. No lint is left over so the car/windows are clean when you are done. I also keep a dry one in my car for wiping down my windshield on the inside when it gets that haze on it that you usually need to wash the windshield. (How come you always notice this when you aren’t home to wash your windshield?) Using it dry, there is enough texture on the cloth to clean the windshield to eliminate the haze. These are easy to wash in your washing machine. I would recommend washing them together and in cold water. I recommend these for more than just your car.

Ordered these as I wash my car myself every couple of weeks, and while the chamois gets the majority of all the water, I still have to go over it in certain areas. These towels are AWESOME!!! They’re thick #1, but the absorbency is GREAT—BETTER than others I’ve tried. They’re thick, and when wet, wring out water very easily. I don’t want to use these on my rims, since the oils from the streets gets caked on, so I’ll use my “cheapie” ones for that. My car just got waxed a few months ago, so I won’t need to do that for awhile, but I’m beyond impressed with these. They ARE microfiber, but they’re THICKER than others I’ve had and seen in stores. The price is pretty amazing too—you get 5. I wish they had an option for a bulk amount–say 10 for a bit more–as there are households that have 2+ cars and would likely need more than 5. Since it’s just me and I own one car, I’m happy with the 5. I can attest to how many times I’ve purchased microfiber towels, I’ve never seen ones this thick. That is a HUGE bonus and plus as to WHY one should own THESE towels!!

We use a lot of inexpensive and thin microfiber towels when detailing our cars. We use them for buffing off wax, spot cleaning with automobile detailer, final wiping dry of windows and car surfaces after removing most of the water, and wiping interior surfaces. We wanted to try these as they tout a two-texture towel that is great for removing liquids.
Observations
– These are MUCH thicker (about 8x) than our inexpensive towels. They will absorb a lot more than the cheaper towels do.
– They do an excellent job of spot cleaning both the interior and exterior of the car. For the interior, they work well when wetting surfaces or carefully wiping dry surfaces such as dashboards. For they exterior, they work exceptionally well with spot cleaners and waxes.
– After using a chamois to remove the bulk of the water, these are absorbent enough to do the final dry of the car surface. After one gets water-logged, it is easy to wring it out and still use as a first-pass drying towel before using another for the final dry.
All-in-all, very pleased with these ultra thick and absorbent cloths and they have become a permanent part of my auto cleaning detail kit.
As an aside, they can also be used for things like wiping down outdoor furniture, but we recommend using the cheaper cloths for that – these are “too good” to be used for that.

I got these for my car when I detail it. These turned out to be really nice clothes. They are small enough to not be too large, yet large enough not to be like a towel. Perfect in between size that wipes easily. Very happy with these clothes
