This is my second Victron battery charger. I added a second charger to my cargo trailer conversion after I doubled my battery storage. I need a faster way to charge my batteries if I was running my generator.

Received from seller/Amazon quickly. I installed the charger and when using it seemed to get very hot. Did some testing and no matter what I never heard a fan come on. Since it seemed weird to me there is no fan noise and this unit does or is suppose to have a fan I removed the four screws attaching the rear panel, lo and behold, NO FAN? So is this unit all changed and the manufacturer didn’t change the wording on the box and manuals? Did the factory forget to install the fan? or Does this seller “Adventurers Bag” sell grey market? We may never know but it is my last buy from them…… Works fine at 8amp, just can’t do 16amps, pretty expensive for a defective 8amp only Victron!

This is a good charger for my setup. The bluetooth has very limited range though. Wish it had a ve.direct connection to plug into a cerbo gx.

Excellent product that works as advertised. Initially, I had trouble getting DIY LFP batteries to bulk charge, but that’s because my connections weren’t torqued tight enough. Tighten your connections!

Victron is my go to solution for charging. I purchased this to provide a predictable charge rate for my UPS configuration. Used on 12V battery through a MPPT charger this works great as it provides as a minimum the required >17 VDC to turn the 100/30 MPPT on allowing the MPPT to control the charge. I can monitor the charge on the battery with bluetooth this way. I have it set to the Power Supply feature at 8A. Running now for a short while but it’s working as desired.
