- Discharging the accessory battery, for example, will not result in also discharging the starter battery
- All models are fitted with a compensation diode that can be used to slightly increase the output voltage of the alternator, this compensates for the voltage drop over the diodes in the isolator
- Diode Battery Isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from one alternator, without connecting the batteries together
- The Argo Battery Isolators feature a low voltage drop thanks to the use of Schottky diodes

Upon testing seems the high end .45 voltage drop is an over estimate. With the compensator wired correctly I’m able to get both batteries to full charge with no issues

Les produits Victron sont excellents. J’utilise plusieurs de leurs produits. Aucun bris à ce jour

Product used as a battery charger diode isolation device. This protects a laboratory power supply from an AC power failure when charging a battery. Works well.

Used in conjunction with a Perko switch to use my outboard motor alternator for trolling motor charging. Worked great, easy to install, fits well in the battery compartment. Very well made of durable materials and great quality for the price. Hopefully lasts as long as the boat.

Hooked up as per the instructions, it’s a complete failure. Messes with my tachometer and didn’t do anything resembling isolating.
At the moment, I am only using it as a terminal post. If I can get it to work as needed, I will revise this

Installed on a Yanmar 4JH2TE with 85A alternator with external sense input. Does the job

I purchased this on Sept 2021. Worked great, pulled the boat out of the water for the winter in October 2021. I put the boat back in the water the 1st week of May 2022. The isolator failed today May 22 2022. Not worth the time or money. O would not recommend.

Came out and my starting battery on the van was dead because I was running my fridge…. Guess it doesn’t isolate the inverter and batteries…sad because they are supposed to be a good company…
