I thought this item would fit my Canam 2019 HD8 Defender DPS, but it didn’t. The raised lip on the gasket seat is too high. I tried shaving it down, but alas, it leaks worse than before…
Edit…..according to the Can-Am dealer the gasket is designed that way, it compresses and seals as you tighten the 4 valve cover bolt. Well, we all pay for education, don’t we…!
