My 2018 440 (F36) came from the factory with the best wiper blades I had ever experienced. While I usually don’t care about OE replacement parts, in this case I made sure to buy BMW OE blades the first couple replacements (BMW 61612349870).
Several years back, I noticed that the part number had been superseded. While I was able to find one more set of the old part number, I did some research on what was happening. What I found was the OE manufacturer was initially Valeo, but that sometime a few years back (somewhere in 2019-21), BMW changed to Bosch. So the BMW part number changed and the part lookup tools were all pointing now to the new Bosch-made blades. In fact, some tools, including Amazon’s, started telling you that the old part number (61612349870) does not even fit vehicles that previously it did!
These Valeo 577828 Silencio blades are the same blades as the BMW 61612349870, and continue to be excellent.
That said, I have to point out one negative. These blades have a rather sizable white Valeo logo stamped on them. The photos of the product at the top of the listing don’t show it, though the one in the “From the Manufacturer” does show it. I definitely would prefer the blades NOT have that, as it looks tacky. Maybe it’s a Europe vs US thing, in the US I can’t recall seeing a large logo like that on a set of wiper blades.
So to summarize: if you’re looking for the true OE blades that were BMW part 61612349870, it’s these, but you will have to tolerate a sizable logo on them.

These came exactly as described. When they arrived, I compared them to the BMW OEM wipers on my car and could not see any difference. Last time I got wipers at the dealership, it was $78!! Never again, I will order these again in a heartbeat instead.
