Edit- The company reached out and was very receptive to my ideas for design improvements which I was impressed with. I have tried this one a bit more, Glass It works on, Tile in bathroom it works on. anything else you have to apply the sticky pad that is one those things that you stick down to give a rough surface a smooth base. I am going to carry it with me and try a few more locations and will update
The suction pad is slick as glass, it needs to be somewhat tacky. It wouldn’t adhered to a flat table mirror or window even before putting my phone on it. I honestly thought it had to have a plastic fiber over the suction part it was so smooth.

Probably I’m being a little generous with giving this unit 3 starts. It is very small with a very small reach. For me it will only work from the driver side quarter light window and then with difficulty. Because of its size it is difficult to get it to stick to the glass in the first place, you must twist the back plate quite hard to lock it on the window, and in this case, it fell f a few times before I got it right. The cell phone is held onto the unit via a magnetic strip which is not strong enough for moving cars, mine often falls from the unit under normal driving conditions especially when turning corners. I will be replacing this unit in the near future. It does come with a sticky double-sided pad which, it is said will allow one to attach it to a rough service. A stronger magnetic will probably overcome some of the problems.
The Verdict Vixen –
This is a wonderful phone holder, great quality and super easy to attach and remove from any smooth surface in your vehicle! I’ve been testing this holder out for a week now, and it has held my phone through jamming on the brakes, hitting potholes, and all of the bumps in between – my phone has never disconnected or fallen off.
The trick is to tighten the base until there’s a louder click, which means its locked on! I had this slip down a few times while driving because I didn’t click the base all the way!
Attaching the holder is very simple, I attach it to my Tesla screen so my charging cable is within reach of my phone.. Just press the suction cup on the back of the holder to the flat smooth surface, and twist the base clockwise, and it’s attached! To preserve the included magnetic ring, I installed it directly on the back of my phone inside my case (so I don’t mess up the adhesive on the ring if I switch cases in the future!), and the attachment still works great without any issues.
The materials are really high quality, and the holder is very small and compact, which conveniently fits inside a cup holder, glove box, or door storage compartment if you ever need to remove it temporarily.
I love how quickly and easily it is to attach and remove this phone mount, it literally takes 2 seconds.. just press onto a smooth surface, and twist the base! This would be a great gift for someone that doesn’t like fumbling with the ball-mounted type holders, or dealing with lengthy instructions to assemble multiple parts (like my mom!).
I highly recommend this awesome little phone holder, as this little gem is made well and I can foresee this lasting at least a few years, even through the hot California summers!
The Verdict Vixen –
This is possibly the strongest magnet I’ve come across for a phone stand. It holds my iPhone 16 very securely. I like how it rotates and swivels out pretty much wherever I need it. It secures to the window of my car easily as well. I attached it to the dashboard though, so it would not be in my line of sight. I had to use the clear sticker to get it to attach to the dashboard though. This is where my only complaint comes in. It’s April in Mississippi. A nice day is low to mid 80’s. I attached this in the morning, parked in the shade, and within 1 hour driving down the highway, my phone was falling over. The sticky does not hold up to the heat. So this summer, when it’s 100 outside at lunchtime, I will likely find this laying in the floor of my car having fallen off in the sweltering heat of my car.
B. Coyote –
This vacuum magnetic phone mount can potentially be very useful in the home and car for hands free videos. Well constructed, reasonably good quality materials used, and nice looking. The magnetic bracket holds the smartphone securely and the device offers some flexibility when positioning.
However, if the smartphone is heavy that could possibly pull the base up and cause it to detach from whatever surface it is stuck to. I did not see that happen but the base is very lightweight, and the cell phones position makes the device top heavy. This product sticks very well to smooth surfaces and not quite as well to others. I think the take away is to be aware that it may not
stick well to every surface.

Very easy to use. I placed it on my entertainment screen for a good gripe. I suction it on and turn the dial, that’s it!

Got a car that can’t use air duct phone holders, can’t mount to the dash, or any other part of the car. I saw these and wondered… will they work on my car?
THEY DID!!
I actually mounted it to the cars center car audio display screen and it didn’t mess up the controls or block the part of the radio that I needed to access.
I then mounted it up high above the rear view mirror on the windshield and it was perfect! I was able to use the cars steering wheels controller buttons and CarPlay to make calls and listen to Pandora.
This was amazing. I’m thinking of installing a charging cable that wraps around the windshield post from Dash to Rear view mirror to keep phone powered on longer drives.
It was very easy moving from one car to another or from one mounting location to another.
This will be replacing my vent mount units as I fear i’m going to break them when removing phone
