These V-gate vLinker 6×00 (2/0) AWG Gauge Lead-Acid Battery Terminals Clamp, 6061 Aluminum Battery Terminal Positive (+) Negative (-) Set, for SAE/DIN/EN Tapered Top Post, 6-Way Battery Connectors (A6HD (Standard 6×00(2/0) AWG)) work great! They were easy enough to install and work better than my old ones that were giving me all sorts of issues.

We have a 2004 Jeep which is still going strong. Thing is, we were working on the installation of an aftermarket amplifier and that required us to add another wire to the car battery’s positive terminal. When we did, we had trouble tightening the car’s built-in battery connector terminal back down tight. The bolt was acting up because of the addition of that round connector we had to install. Suffice it to say, we grew nervous and decided to check Amazon to see what our options were for changing things to make it all better. Lucky for us, we happened across this nice v-gate battery terminals clamp set. This is just what we needed, and the end result is better than the way it was before. We were very careful when we detached the thick red positive battery cable from the original metal terminal, so that we left ourselves with plenty of stripped copper wire. That allowed us to connect that stripped wire into one of the multitude of ports on this new v-linker device. It was pretty easy and we’re glad we took our time with this project as the result here is that we had no issues. Of course it was then super-easy to attach the lead to our amplifier which was a solid 10-gauge copper wire. This ended up being a pleasant way to spend a weekend afternoon wrenching on the Jeep.

These are nice terminals that work a lot better than stacking multiple connections on the same post.

I wanted these for my RV. I have the main trailer 12v connection, 2 different inverters, and the battery inter-connects to hook up (3 group 27 connected in parallel. This sometimes meant I would not have power due to a problem on either the pos or neg side just because of all these stacked connections. This solves that completely.

The only issue I have with these is they didn’t supply an Allan wrench with them, and you actually need 2 different ones. The bolt that secures the block to the battery post is a different size than the ones that connect the individual wires (x6) to the block. It would have been nice to have these supplied so I could just toss them to the battery box and have them handy if something does come loose. Even if the charged a couple bucks extra, it would be worth it.

Little bit lighter weight then ithought it would be. Also the posts are smaller then what i thought they would be. Overall ok but on the fence if i would get another one.

I got this item to connect to my 12V diesel heater and other 12 volt powered items for use during a power outage.

The things are chunky!! I meant this in the best way possible. These should have no issue transferring power from a 6-12v battery and providing multiple(6) outputs. The device is well made and finished nicely.

I believe the blocks are made of aluminum with steel hardware, so make sure not to over torque the fasteners to avoid stripping the holes. Although I think it would not be easy to do so.

If you’re looking for a way to distribute power I don’t think you would go wrong with this set.

The V-gate vLinker 6×00 (2/0) AWG Gauge Lead-Acid Battery Terminals Clamp is a high-quality set of battery terminals designed for use with 2/0 AWG gauge cables in automotive, marine, or other lead-acid battery applications. Made from 6061 aluminum, this product offers both durability and excellent conductivity. Below is a detailed review based on its features, advantages, and potential drawbacks:

    Pros:
Durable and Lightweight Material (6061 Aluminum): The use of 6061 aluminum is a key highlight. This material is known for its combination of strength, lightweight properties, and resistance to corrosion, making these battery terminals an excellent choice for long-term durability. Aluminum also provides good electrical conductivity, ensuring efficient power transfer.

Versatile Compatibility: The battery terminals are designed to fit SAE, DIN, and EN tapered top posts, which makes them compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats. This versatility makes them a solid choice for various applications where top-post lead-acid batteries are used.

High-Amp Capacity (2/0 AWG Gauge): These terminals are designed to work with 2/0 AWG cables, which are typically used in high-current applications, such as larger vehicles and heavy-duty systems. The 2/0 gauge provides excellent current-carrying capability, ensuring that your battery can handle significant power demands, especially in vehicles with large engines or high-performance requirements.

6-Way Battery Connectors: This set includes a 6-way battery connector, which allows for easy connection to multiple components. This feature is especially useful for users who need to connect multiple accessories or battery-powered devices to a single battery, such as winches, inverters, or audio equipment.

Ease of Installation: The design of these battery terminals allows for straightforward installation. The clamps are easy to tighten onto the battery posts, ensuring a secure and solid connection without the need for additional tools or complex steps. The 6-way design also simplifies multi-connection setups.

Positive (+) and Negative (-) Terminals: This set includes both positive and negative terminals, ensuring that you have everything needed to complete the battery connection in your system. This simplifies installation and ensures proper polarity when connecting the battery.

    Cons:
Aluminum Durability vs. Copper: While aluminum is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, it is generally less durable than copper, especially under high mechanical stress or extreme environmental conditions. Some users may prefer copper battery terminals for applications where maximum durability and strength are required. However, aluminum is still a good choice for most users looking for a balance of weight, performance, and price.

Size Limitations: These terminals are specifically designed for 2/0 AWG gauge cables. If you have cables with a different gauge, these terminals will not be compatible, and you would need to find the appropriate terminals for your cable size.

Tightening Mechanism: Some users have noted that the tightening mechanism, while functional, could be slightly improved for ease of use. While the design is generally secure, a more user-friendly tightening feature could make installation even quicker.

Not Suitable for Smaller Battery Cables: Due to the large 2/0 AWG size, these battery terminals are not ideal for smaller cables, such as 4 AWG or 8 AWG. Users with smaller wiring needs should look for terminals that are compatible with their cable size.

    Overall:
The V-gate vLinker 6×00 (2/0) AWG Gauge Lead-Acid Battery Terminals Clamp is a well-made, durable, and versatile solution for high-current battery applications. The 6061 aluminum construction offers a good balance of weight, strength, and corrosion resistance, while the 6-way connector and compatibility with various battery post types make it a flexible choice for different systems. While the aluminum construction may not be as robust as copper in extreme conditions, it offers excellent value for most standard automotive, marine, or RV applications. If you’re looking for a reliable and cost-effective way to manage large power demands in your vehicle or equipment, this set of battery terminals is a solid choice.

Are you still on my Jeep Wrangler. The ones that we’re on there were the original ones and they were pretty bad looking. I got these because I needed to wire in upgrade. This set made my project much easier.

  8. Spindoc

I have a bunch of extra electrical loads on my 4×4 truck. Bumper winch, lights, bed crane, more lights. And it’s a bit difficult to stack all those wires on standard battery clamps. I would have preferred they were made of copper or brass but, these seem to be carrying the load without issues. Easy to install and work well with heavy duty crimp on wire terminators.

  9. W. Wells

This unit is great for attaching multiple terminals to a single battery terminal. It is easy to install and besides keeping the distance between the terminals in mind it is very easy to setup and run multiple devices off a single battery or paralleling multiple batteries.

  10. B H

This product is particularly well suited in situations where you want to extend being able to attach open wires, but don’t care as much about threaded bolt and nut connections with copper cable lugs. The only reason it’s a 4 instead of a 5 is for this reason, because I think having the option of both is nice even if you’re just planning to use use one type of connection.
