Chase –
I used these as master power relays on a high-power electric scooter that pulled 80A continuous in some situations. Having the 48v coil is nice since a buck converter is not needed if you wish to control these with the power coming from a 48v battery. Otherwise, they are just like any other automotive relay out there.

used for my golf cart to switch the voltage reducer power on with the key on to reduce battery drain and to keep people from messing with the horn, forgetting to turn of the lights etc.
