Works great on my lithium golf cart for adding some switched power needs.

I bought this thinking I could use a 5v or 12v signal on 85 and 86 to close the circuit on the 48v power source on 30 and 87 but the relay wouldn’t click over until I tested it at 52v on 85 and 86.
This is not useful for my use since it requires the same voltage level as what I’m trying to enable to begin with.

Installed with a Step Down 48V – 12V DC converter.
Pin 30 goes to the POS of the BATT
Pin 85 goes to the POS of the converter (IN)
Pin 86 goes to the NEG of the converter (IN) – which connected to BATT NEG
Pin 87 goes to the unpowered terminal of the key switch (Powered when key switch is turned on)
Pin 87A removed (Not needed for memory power in my golf cart)

I liked the little relay. It came with a plug that had wires already attached making it easy to connect to the existing wires in my golf cart. I used it to turn on/off the DC-DC (48v – 12v) converter that powers the 12 v headlights and tail lights on the 48 v system. Some of the comment in the reviews said it was hard t determine the connections to the relay. There is a diagram on the top of the relay with the numbered 1/4†disconnect indicated. Also on the Amazon screen with the relay description is a paragraph indicating the PIN number connection. I’m a happy customer.

These relays are perfect for my application and arrived very quickly in a padded package to ensure their safe arrival.

I’m using this in a solar power system to switch from solar to a battery input on my portable power station. running solar input at 15A the wiring and socket get to ~140F. with the relay on and running 20A you can barely touch them. If your load is intermittent these may be fine but continuous I wouldn’t push much more than 15A too long. The wire size is unlabelled but probably close to 14AWG…
