Man, if you don’t have one of these, you really need it. I haven’t used mine yet for MY car, but the peace of mind that comes with knowing that if your battery strands you, you’ve got it covered is kind-of amazing.
Know why I capitalized “MY” though above? It’s because I was walking out of a local mall to my car, and there was a woman whose battery had stranded her. I simply popped my trunk, took out my UTRAI Car Jump Starter, plugged it up to her battery, and told her to start her car. She was amazed. It’s perfection.

The UTRAI Car Jump Starter worked fine jumping a 3.0L boxer 6 cylinder, which does demand a bit more than most 6-cyl engines. It comes with a thin bag for the charger and accessories, but others in this price range come with a nice hard-sided case. It charges up quickly and everything works as intended. It does have USB-C 18W, USB-A 18W, and USB-A 10W, so it will quickly charge a phone, but not a laptop, although it should keep most laptops going without charging or charge it when it’s off. This is an average charger for an average price.

I’ve tried many “Jump starter” packs and while they will give you some power, don’t get overly sold on the “5000 amps” numbers (that seem to keep growing despite how unreal they are). I personally go off the battery rating like they say this is “20,000mAH” or 20 amp-hour and “74Watt-Hour” (and from those I can conclude the battery is 3.7V inside). Part of why I like to know those details is because from that info I know that to get ~12V power to a car requires an inside device to “boost” the power from 3.7V to over 12V (it’s not just a direct connection to an internal 12V battery like packs with AGM batteries have). The devices doing that boost actually takes the power to 16.5V that I measured with my Fluke meter. Another note, that boost port stays “Hot” or on all the time despite the power seeming to be “Off”, so if you plug in anything to that EC5 port it will have power. Some devices intended to take “12V power” may be fine with that as the source (as a running car has ~14.5V normally which is higher than just “12V”), yet 16.5V is higher than many things may expect (like inverters may alarm from “Too high” a voltage off that). So that may be bad for you in some places like that, yet to charge a car battery the higher voltage helps “push” the power to it (making it good in a way as well). All I can do is tell you what exists so you can determine why things happen (like the inverter alarms etc.)
I also find it interesting that while the car boost power is at 16V+, they say in the manual “Fast blinking of the LED on the boost plug indicates car power is charging the pack and you should disconnect it ASAP”. How a cars ~14.5V regulated charge can push power back thru their “Booster” at 16V seems an interesting combo (that doesn’t make sense to me). Yet nearly all packs I’ve seen will add directions of “Recharge ASAP after any use as well as every 60 days if unused to top it off” where you don’t want to forget about it in the trunk until needed. I think of all such packs like a small water bottle that needs refilling (especially after a heavy use like cranking a car), so refill it if you expect it to be full when you need it. Using the USB ports for 20 minutes may not need the instant refill, but don’t let it go too low or long before doing it.

Worked well with both a 2012 Outback (4 cyl) and a 1967 Miata (very small car) with an almost dead battery.
Definitely a tool I’ll keep with the old Outback, which seems plagued by battery drainage problems. At least, until I try to finally solve the battery drain.
I think this is a great alternative to jockeying dead cars around to reach jumper cables over to another car. Dead or hard to start cars don’t happen oftern to me, but they always seem to occur in the worst locations and at the worst times to easily get a quick jump.
Worth the price to me just for security/insurance for family members who need to drive the old cars.
I know some of the family have used it for recharging their cell phones, but at least they will remember this tool is there. I’ll have to keep it recharged, but that’s not a major problem!
Recommended. It has worked with my two oldest cars.

I got this for my 4 cylinder Subaru. I don’t need a lot of power to jump it. This battery holds a charge for a while (I check it every few months) but you can also plug it in to a 12v lighter plug.

This is a battery jump pack for jumping a car battery, it doubles as a power bank for charging devices. The battery level is indicated by pressing the side button and the level appears in large glowing numbers. Ut has two USB ports on the side, one is blue and charges faster than the black one. The USBC port is for recharging this battery only, it does not work for output. There is a set of clamos on thick wire that connect to the front of the battery pack with a stable connection. There is a light up pod that shows if the battery is ready to be jumped and if the pack has sufficient power. This has all the codes written on it to make it easy to see whats happening and when it is safe to start the car. I like this bit of helpful instruction. This comes in a drawstring pouch, which is nice that it keeps it all together, but offers no protection from drops.
The use of 74Wh as a capacity measurement had me misled. This is not 74,000mAh, it is 27,000mAh. One charge of my phone took it down 20%, and my phone battery is under 5,000mAh, so this might hold a bit less than 27,000. Compact size for something that can jump a car battery. The pack is a little larger than my 26,000mAh power banks, but not much. Probably just enough to house the extra electronics for the jumper cables. It’s a solid value for the price. One use in an emergency and it pays for itself, and this is good repeatedly.
It does get warm when charging. The plug says it will beep if too hot for a jump. This is probably more helpful if being kept in a hot car, not heat from usage.
