I had previously installed a chassis mount shifter which blocked off the hole in the transmission tunnel, I’ve since moved to a coolerworx which leaves the trans tunnel hole open. There is a ton heat that comes though that without a boot there, had to cut it up a little to fit with shifter base but overall works great
