My code went away and has not returned. Aftermarket sensors can be hit or miss, especially on a BMW, so far so good.

As described it was easy to work with. Only time will tell how long it will last but very good value

Cheap, they last just under 2 years. OEM sensors generally last 50,000 – 100,000 miles. I’m certain i have not driven the car in question more than maybe 20k miles. If you need sensors in a pinch, i recommend, but if not, get the OEMs.

This product is rated to fit a 2001 S500. After installation, I had more fault codes. The CPU does not recognize these sensors. The codes I received after install are P130, P135, P150.
The P0150 code is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) fails to properly detect activity from the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor transmits a voltage in relation to the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. This voltage is indicated by a value typically between.
P0135 is the OBD-II generic code indicating the engine control module (ECM) has tested the O2 sensor heater circuit and has detected a problem with the bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor heater circuit.
Your Engine Control Module (ECM) uses the voltage levels provided by your O2 sensors to regulate your engine’s air/fuel mixture. If you are seeing code P0130, it means that the O2 sensor before your catalytic converter on bank 1 is malfunctioning.

Thought I’d give these a try, the price was right, had some badd luck with Bosch, will see what happens in the near future, but right now they’re great, upstream and downstream

Great price!!! On of the sensors failed within 30 dYs of installation–NOT GOOD for a sense of confidence
