I don’t have much to say about this product. It does not mount well on car dashboards. The suction cup struggles to adhere properly to the leather texture, causing the holder to detach frequently, which can be quite frustrating. This limits its versatility, as many car interiors feature leather/fabric dashboards. On the positive side, the holder works well on glass surfaces and the suction cup provides a firm grip, ensuring that the phone stays securely in place while driving. Additionally, if you use the little sticker with the suction cup, it works well – but again only on flat surface. I don’t see using this on my Windows as shown in the picture. Having said all that, the overall quality is really good.

This Suction Cup Phone Mount (Obsidian Black) from Topume is one of the better suction cup mounts that I have tried. My dashboard has some glossy, flat trim that is perfect for suction cup attachment, so I do not need to use the adhesive disk that is included with this mount.
This mount has a large area to the outer ring that is rotated to pull on the suction cup, and that large area is what makes it so easy to actuate the suction. It has a nice, positive feel to it when you have reached the maximum rotation and it will not rotate back on its own.
The articulation of the mount arm is very versatile and provides all of the adjustments that I need to position the phone to my liking. All of the joints are tight and stay where you adjust it to, even on very bumpy roads. The arm also rotates within the base which many of the other brands do not do. This allows for much easier positioning.
I am very pleased with this mount because of its suction performance. It has been in place for 2 weeks on the dash and has not budged or required any remounting. The design of the arm has made positioning the phone a breeze, so I have absolutely no complaints about this product.

This thing is solid, except at one angle… the “ Upgraded Vacuum Magnetic Phone Holder for MagSafe,Double-Foldable Suction Cup Phone Mount,360° Rotatable Phone Mount for All Smartphones & All Car Models-Obsidian Black” may not have been meant to be used behind a laptop, but hey it holds very well. I guess my phone or the angle may not be exactly perfect, so as the arm is fully extended it can slump a little. It holds so well that I tried sucking it to a meral cabinet and the magnets almost wanted to pop off the cover (which is glued down). It is very strong, has a base that rotates to suction hold, and an arm that is stiff and swings around and out for your magsafe needs.
Quality: This is made very well except the twisting action on mine could have been as stiff as the folded arm. I wish I can tighten it somehow, because everything else is tight. It comes with a sticky plastic mount tab disc, so you can make any porous surface mountable with that disc. I have had it working on a laptop lid, glass, laminate desk wood, and the quality holds up well.
Overall: If the swing base was much tighter, for my purpose, I would give it a 5/5. It’s not a 4/5, but a 4.5. I like how easily it detached with a twist of the base, and attached with a twist. It has such a strong magsafe hold. It is heavy and small. If you are looking for a good and sturdy mount, this is a serious contender to meet your needs. I plan to use it for many many months to come and see how the arm holds up. Pictured is the laptop screen, the suction behind it, an arm peaking out with the magsafe (gray circle) and where I put my phone on besides my laptop. It works!!

Can’t trust this item to hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max…. It can’t stand (alone) on windshield or any other surface. Completely useless. Waste of money.
